The Kingdom of God

What is a Kingdom?

The word Kingdom comes from two words: King and Domain. A Kingdom is a king and His domain or the domain in which a king rules. The kings' power in that domain is absolute. In other words, what the king says in that domain is final. It is not subject to discussion or criticism; you cannot challenge a king's order or disagree or argue with a king. A king's degree is not subject to your interpretation. A king's degree is what the king intended the degree to be.

The difference between a Kingdom and a Republic

A kingdom is a form of government in which a monarch, such as a king or queen, is the head of state.

The monarch's power is usually inherited, and the government is often organized as an absolute monarchy, in which the monarch has complete control over the government.

On the other hand, a republic is a form of government in which the head of state is elected by the people or by representatives of the people. The head of state in a republic is usually referred to as a president or a prime minister.

The Government of a Republic

The government is usually organized as a presidential republic, in which the president has significant executive power, or a parliamentary republic, where the prime minister is the head of government and is responsible to the legislature.

Jesus Christ came on earth to introduce a Kingdom.

Matthew 4:17 NKJV From that time, Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
