What does it mean to manifest something? What is a manifestation, exactly?

Manifestation indicates the existence, reality, or presence of something.

Matthew 16:19 NKJV And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Keys

What do keys represent here? Keys describe access; when you have keys, you have access. Access to what? The treasures of the Kingdom.

Seed

Genesis 8:22 NKJV "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease."

Genesis 1:11-12 NKJV Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

This is a universal fixed law, and it governs everything. Everything produces after its kind, and the seed is in itself.
