There are four key lessons we learn from the Book of Daniel, chapter four.

Lesson 1
The Most High rules over humanity and bestows it on whomever He wishes.

This is the theme of the whole of chapter four, and it is repeated three times in the chapter.

As a Christian, you must respect God’s choices even if you dislike your government leaders.

Romans 13:1 NKJV Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Lesson 2
It is wise to be open to correction.

Lesson 3
Pride goes before destruction.

Proverbs 29:23 NKJV A man's pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.

Lesson 4
God loves us despite our sins and patiently works in our lives.

Romans 5:8 NKJV But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
