The Book of Daniel, Chapter 7 - Part 1

The remaining chapters in Daniel are principally prophetic.

They outline the rise and fall of great empires from Daniel’s time down to the end of human history, with particular emphasis on the time of the end. The rise and fall of these empires is not the central focus of this study. They help us to understand Christ and His mission to this world, as well as His ministry in the heavenly sanctuary.

They provide a backdrop and attest to God’s sovereignty in world affairs. They give us reference points in history to better understand His excellent plan of redemption. We’re going to see how prophecies all work together and how they give us more significant insights into the gospel of Jesus Christ. They will help show us how Christ is preparing His people for His second coming.
